Modern food processing methods make it difficult to get adequate amounts of vitamin E and the trace minerals. Vitamin E Complete consists of eight compounds – four tocopherols and four tocotrienols. Nature’s Sunshine (NSP) has created a perfect blend of all eight members of the vitamin E family, along with the beneficial trace mineral selenium.
• Protects against free radicals.
• Supports the circulatory and reproductive systems, as well as the liver.
• Maintains normal range blood viscosity.
• Supports glandular health.
• Promotes healthy-looking skin.
• Helps maintain cholesterol levels that are already within the normal range.
How It Works
Vitamin E and selenium are antioxidants. They work together to help quench free radicals that form as byproducts of metabolic activity and as a result of exposure to damaging environmental chemicals. Both nutrients play key roles in the production of certain enzymes that are needed to maintain overall health, prevent premature aging and keep tissue supple.
For maximum activity and benefits, both tocotrienols and tocopherols are necessary. They perform different functions in the body. For example, tocotrienols slow the activity of a liver enzyme that plays a key role in the synthesis of cholesterol. Gamma tocopherol fights nitrogen radicals that can negatively affect health. While d-alpha tocopherol was once thought to be one of the best antioxidants, alpha tocotrienol has been found to be a more powerful free radical quencher.
Nature’s Sunshine Advantage
Tocopherols and tocotrienols are two families of metabolically active compounds that we know genetically as Vitamin E. Many vitamin E products on the market contain only one or two of these compounds.
Nature’s Sunshine has added 30 mg. tocopherols (alpha, beta, delta and gamma) plus 5mg. mixed tocotrienols (alpha, beta, delta, and gamma) to provide the complete vitamin E package. Natural vitamin E has twice the biological activity of synthetic vitamin E (“dl”). This product contains toctorienols from annatto, which is significantly higher in delta toctotrienol than palm, the most common source used.
Each softgel capsule contains 400 IU of vitamin E form soybean oil and 25 mcg. selenium.
Take 1 capsule daily with a meal.
