Hi Sunshiners!

We’re getting ready to leave for a Birding and Nature Festival in WV.  I can’t wait to take the drive over the Blue Ridge Mountains and into the forests of WV.  It’s so pretty over there and this time of year offers an abundance of birds to be viewed.  We’ll be attending some workshops also and will hopefully learn even more about God’s Incredible Creation.

Here at Bluebird Cove (what we call our home on an acre) we have Red-bellied Woodpeckers, Eastern Bluebirds, Purple Finches and more nesting!  American Toads spent a few days at the pond singing and calling and mating and then moved back on land leaving behind strings of eggs that look like black pearls.  We will have tons of tadpoles because there have been other frogs calling and mating also.  It’s amazing what a little patch of water can do for habitat.  Here’s a photo of one singing male American Toad.

We’ve sure been selling the cleanses.  It’s a great time of year for one if you haven’t "gotten around to it" yet.  My favorite is all capsules, the Tiao He Cleanse, that cleans up the liver, bowel, blood and gall bladder.  This cleanse is the Featured Product for this month in this newsletter.  Read more below or at the website.

NSP Answers

Does NSP Have A Product Guarantee?

The maximum return allowed is 100 percent of the last order placed, and up to 30 percent of the order previous to that. It is expected that at least 70 percent of the products purchased will have been sold, distributed to the Member’s downline or personally consumed prior to reordering. No returns will be authorized for products purchased on earlier orders.

Credit will be given at 90 percent of the purchase price, less all rebates and commissions paid. All returns must have advance authorization by Customer Service, include a visible RG (Returned Goods) number and otherwise follow the procedures for returning products. Such returns will be processed within 10 business days of receipt.

All products to be returned must have a lot number of within 12 months from date of purchase from NSP.

The rule pertains only to inventory returns and does not include regular returns made to satisfy customers who are dissatisfied with product, or defective or damaged product.

Nature’s Seal and Juice Factor 2000 returns

There is a six-month deadline for any returns on NatureSeal pans and the Juice Factor 2000 products, whether new or minimally used. No returns can be authorized after six months from the date of purchase from NSP unless the product is defective. Full 100 percent credit will be given on return of defective product. All returns must be authorized by Customer Service, have an RG (Returned Goods) number on the ouside of the box when returned and otherwise follow the procedures for returns. The order number and stock number will still be required. Returns of NatureSeal and Juice Factory 2000 products must be sent to:

Get More Sales With These 5 Proven Headlines

In the world of marketing communications, your first impression — your headline — can lead to either marketing success … or failure.

It’s important to realize that headlines work best when they appeal to your reader’s interests (not yours). And not only can they *grab attention*, they can also make your message easy to read, convey your main selling points, and lead your customer to a sale.

Over the years copywriting pros have used several headline formulas that always work well. Here are my fab five:

1. The Question: "Are You Worried About Your Financial Future?"

A question headline automatically gets your readers involved in your message, because they answer it in their minds. Many people will read further into your letter, ad, or Web site copy just to find out what answer or solution you provide. Again, make sure the question focuses on the reader’s interest, not yours. A bad example would be: "Do You Know What New Product We’ve Created This Year?" (No one cares but you!)

2. The How-to: "How to Get Thinner Thighs in 30 Days."

How-to headlines work very well, because people love information that shows them how to do something. (Thousands of book titles begin with "How to….") Think of the benefits your product/service offers and then try creating some "how to" headlines.

3. The Testimonial: "Jane Smith’s Consulting Is Pure Magic — Our Sales Have Increased by 30%!"

Why not let your clients do the selling for you? Their commendations can go a long way in convincing others to use your services. Tip: To appear credible, always include your clients’ full names and the cities they live in.

4. The Command: "Boost Your Business Today!"

Turn your most important benefit into a commanding headline, such as "Make More Time for Your Family," "Look Younger Instantly!" and "Get 7 New Clients This Month." (By the way, throwing a number into your headline is another good tactic. And readers seem to like odd numbers as opposed to even.)

5. The News: "Introducing Our New ‘Rest-Assured’ Tax Service!"

Caution: This only works if you truly have something big to announce that is of interest to the reader. (Something that will make her life or business better.) Don’t try to make news out of something that’s not.

Once your readers know you have something they’re interested in, they’ll take the time to read your entire article, brochure, letter, ad, e-zine, or Web page. So put some TLC into creating headlines that entice!

Welcome Into The Business Family

News Within The Family

Congratulations to Dianne Frase for launching a new Manager in April.

Robin and Steve just returned from a trip to Michigan to see her parents.  There’s some consideration of moving there.  That will put her further away in miles, but I guess with our online virtual lives, we’re right next door.

Congratulations to John and Roxanne Howlett for another new Manager in April.  They have been invited to NSP’s Divisional Trip in Southern Utah for June and will be taking Matthew along.  That will be his second trip to Utah and he’s only turning one year old on the 6th of May.

Speaking of birthdays, Roxanne Howlett’s birthday is today!  Happy birthday to you!

Christina took her exam for a teaching certification and will soon know how she did.  She’s been really enjoying the nanny job homeschooling two children.  It fits in well with her NSP work hours.

Your prayers for Rick Franks would be appreciated.  This is Virginia’s husband.  This week they did a heart cath and discovered 5 blockages.  Two at 40%, one at 50%, two at 90% and one at 70%.  They put in 2 stints and want to schedule him for by-pass surgery in about 3 months.
